G. Robert Toney, President & Owner, has been directly involved with all aspects of operations for National Maritime Services and sister company National Liquidators.  Under his leadership, National grew from a small Florida boat auction to encompass the global business of vessel repossession, arrest, yacht and ship auctions, marine finance and marina management services.  Prior to that, Bob had a 16 year banking career including consumer and commercial lending, as well as managing loan servicing and workouts for private institutions and government agencies.

Alan Swimmer, Director is a marine finance industry veteran of over 25 years. He has successfully operated several specialty finance enterprises, having managed the origination of over $4 billion in specialty loans and the acquisition of several boat loan portfolios. Alan is an accomplished entrepreneur with a proven track record of business development, sales and marketing, and management. His expertise is invaluable as National Maritime Services seeks growth opportunities and expands services to government agencies, banks, and law firms.

Bill O'Dell, Operations Manager, handles daily arrest and custody activity including contact with US Marshals and other personnel, provisions, transportation, bunkering and maintenance.  Bill is a retired US Navy Chief Petty Officer and is also responsible for U.S. Government vessel custody contracts with the Department of Justice and the Department of Treasury.
